Visual and Verbal Identity of Automotive Parts and Accessories

Mobiltech is a new brand of automotive parts and accessories in our market. Shift created a verbal and visual identity as well as packaging design that suggest the brand's commitment to car owners. Selling automotive parts is a very competitive space, so the brand's identity must appeal to customers, and make the decision process easier.

Our task was to develop an identity that is professional and attractive to target customers. As a starting point, we created a name «Mobiltech» which is relevant for the market segment. The bold typography, slightly slanted initial letter gives a feeling of movement and acceleration that is highly relevant to this industry. We added the square shape to the left side to express the strength of the brand.

This is a good example of how the simplest of shapes can be combined to great impact. When designing packaging, the combination of the "M" sign and this shape can be used as a decorative element in packaging design. The orientation suggests action, but the solid writing gives an important feeling of stability that is key in this field. This logo design is very simple, but still offers a brand promise and important clues about the business itself. In order to maintain brand consistency and to provide clear understanding how to use all the brand identity elements properly, our team designed a brand book manual built in accordance with the brand’s purpose.
