Visual Identity for a Recruitment Agency

Category: Identity

Considering the various elements that affect people's decisions to work abroad, it is obvious that as emigration trends increase, so do the number of businesses which help connect job seekers with potential employers (mainly in Germany). People from Bosnia and Herzegovina that choose to work in Germany, usually do so for a variety of reasons, including economic considerations, better employment possibilities, higher incomes, attractive working conditions, job market stability, opportunities for professional development, and a superior social system.

With a strong job market and many growing companies, Germany is one of the main markets our client operates in. Competent Office Solutions (COS) a company from Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, has established itself as a trustworthy partner in the recruitment process for many German companies for whom it secures labour from Bosnia-Herzegovina and other countries in the region. When hiring new employees, COS works with German firms to streamline the process and help employees settle into their new role and new surroundings. COS also takes care of educating potential employees about their legal rights and obligations. The organization has now made the decision to go forward, including a change of their visual identity, in response to the ongoing growth of their business.

The new logo is based on the stylized term "COS," which features a central silhouette of a person which is instantly identifiable as the individual/worker who is, in fact, at the centre of what this company does. The core of this visual identity, aside from the unique logo, is its colour scheme. Both the visual identities of some of the main organizations that COS recruits for and the German national visual brand served as inspiration for the combination. A brand book was produced as part of the visual identity overhaul and new logo design project, including precise instructions and examples on how to use and implement the visual identity
